* CRUISE NEWSLETTER #7 -- January 3,
2006 *
Hello Everyone,
We took a break during the holidays,
but we are back with our newsletter for the next couple of weeks.
We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. Also a great
big thank you to those who volunteered to help with our Sunday
sacrament meeting.
Our intent is to answer all the
questions we have been receiving lately, but if you don't see an answer
to a question please let us know and we will answer it in the next
newsletter, or just give us a call, we would love to talk
with you.
I know that some of you have wanted to
know what the times are for our seminar schedule, however we have not
gotten that information from Princess Cruise Line yet, and as soon as
we do, we will let you know. I realize that some of you are
trying to make reservations for spa treatments and other activities so
we are trying to get that information ASAP!
Documents;
You will need a valid drivers liscence and a birth certificate with the
official seal on it in order to board the ship, or a valid passport.
Payment Of Items Purchased
Onboard And In Port: The cruise line will set you up with
an onboard account using your credit card, when a purchase is made it
will be charged to your onboard account. At the end of the cruise
you have the option of leaving the charges on your credit card, or the
last night of the cruise you may pay the charges with cash.
Purchases made in the ports; we recommend that you use a credit card,
this way if there should be any problems you are protected through your
credit card company.
Tuxedo or Formal Dress;
Men may take a tuxedo or you may rent one on the ship, just make sure
you make a reservation right away, once onboard. Suits are also
acceptable, you do not need a tuxedo unless you wish to wear one.
Women may want to take a formal dress since that is what the majority
of women will be wearing, however a nice Sunday dress is also
acceptable. There will be two formal dress nights on the cruise.
Motion Sickness;
I take a drug called Meclizine. You may get this from your pharmacist
over the counter, of which you do not need a prescrition for. For
best results I begin the medication 2-3 days prior to the trip, this
way I avoid getting sick on the airplane or the ship. The cruise line
also has medication for those who get sick. Also keeping some food in
your stomach will help.
Next newsletter we will be answering
more questions, so if you have any that need addressing please let us
know.
For those of you who missed the
information on our shore excursions please give us a call at
(801)446-4218 or toll free at (866)446-4218. We need to have the
money in our hands by January 15th in order to pay the tour companies.
The cruise will be here before we know
it and we are looking so forward to meeting each of you.
See you in 6 weeks!
